1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing the TMC website, requesting a quote, submitting a pickup request, or applying for employment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services
TMC provides freight transportation and logistics services, including intermodal drayage, cross-dock service, dedicated trucking, yard management, brokerage, and LTL solutions within the 48 continental United States. All shipments are subject to a separate rate confirmation and bill of lading, which govern in the event of any conflict with these terms.
3. Quotes and Payment
Online quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and remain valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Final charges may vary based on actual weight, dimensions, accessorial services, fuel surcharges, and tolls. Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date unless other terms are agreed in writing.
4. Shipper Responsibilities
The shipper is responsible for accurate descriptions of freight, proper packaging and labeling, and disclosure of hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations. TMC may refuse, hold, or return any shipment that is improperly documented or unsafe to transport.
5. Liability and Claims
Carrier liability for loss or damage is governed by 49 U.S.C. § 14706 (the Carmack Amendment). Claims must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery or scheduled delivery date. TMC is not liable for delays or losses caused by weather, road closures, acts of government, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
6. Driver Applications
Employment applications submitted through this website are subject to TMC's hiring standards, including minimum age, verifiable experience, and safety record requirements described on our Careers page (FMCSR, Sec. 391.11). Submitting an application does not guarantee employment.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the TMC name, logo, images, and text — is the property of TMC and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
